Former Prime Minister of Kenya, Raila Odinga briefly appeared unsteady on a podium on Sunday during Sportpesa Cup trophy award ceremony at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Raila was the chief guest in the Sportpesa Cupfinal match between Kariobangi Sharks and Bandari. He was seen on video struggling to stay on his feet , and had to be helped by multiple security guards.

His spokesman, Dennis Onyango later revealed that the Former Prime Minister was fine.

“Hon Odinga is fine in Dar es Salaam. Images of security people holding him emerged from a step on the podium that was falling off and had nothing to do with his health,” he tweeted.

Odinga also tweeted hours later, confirming that he was well.
